Coaches vs. Cancer

Annual 5k Race

Join us on April 17, 2010 for the 11th annual Coaches vs. Cancer 5k Run/Walk! The race begins at 11 am at the IM Building, located on Curtin and University. All proceeds benefit the American Cancer Society and BPCAF.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

General Race Information

Who:              Any and everybody is welcome to register

 

Why:              To raise funds, awareness and hope for the fight against cancer

 

 

Registration Information 

 

Registration includes:

· Race entrance

· High quality t-shirts (for first 800 participants to pick up their race packets)

· All-you-can-eat spaghetti dinner the night before the race

· Refreshments and prizes on race day

 

Entry fees:

      · $15/person for team registration (teams of 8 or more)

      · $17 for individual registration

 

 

How to register:

There are three ways to register for the Coaches vs. Cancer 5K.

 

1. Register online

 

Online registration for individuals and teams is now open.

 

2. Mail in your registration form.

 3. Register in-person at our HUB tables starting March 29th. In-person registration will also be open at packet pickup, spaghetti dinner and one hour before the start of the race.

 

 

 

Packet Pickup

· April 16 from 9 am-4 pm outside The Student Bookstore

· First 800 will receive a free t-shirt

· Packet pickup also available at the spaghetti dinner and race.

· Race timing chips will only be distributed on race day so be sure to get there      

     early!

 

 

Spaghetti Dinner

· April 16 from 5 pm-8 pm at Grace Lutheran Church

· Free for runners, $5 for all others

· All-you-can-eat!

Course Information

The hilly, wheel-measured course runs through the streets of the Penn State University Park campus Pennsylvania. The race begins and ends at the Intramural Building, located directly across University Drive from Beaver Stadium. Water stops and mile splits will be located at each mile marker.
